You need to contact your host and tell them that you can't access your forum from your IP (don't forget to tell them which IP you have)

There is really nothing we can do to help you... Your problem is not related to SMF, it's a network or server issue...

It has been near a week since I installed SMF and have never been able to access it. I sic'd the problem on my hosting site and their techs found database_info.php is missing. Shouldn't the install have created it? If not, where do I get it?

My wife's computer keeps reporting a virus in C:\Windows\sysWow64\svchost.exe. It keeps reporting the virus over and over again. I have tried Malwarebytes and SuperAntiVirus scan with no luck. Wife is going crazy. PLEASE HELP!

Illori, yes that is also true, but from my understanding of marketing, you have a higher response rate with HTML.

I will try it. I tried it with cuteFTP, Filezilla, and CyberDuck. It was weird though with filezilla because when i went to upload it, it would appear in the Sources folder, then immediately disappear.

Using $context['template_layers'][] in Hook, breaks the jump to on boardindex

Maybe found a bug or script stopping thingy, it breaks/stops the 'jump to =>' dropdown box (javascript) script on boardindex using 'integrate_load_theme' and then in the function using $context['template_layers'][].

I had a thread on here earlier about making custom pages and putting custom html into them, and i though we had it all fixed and I came back this morning to see that its cut off again...

No matter what I do it keeps cutting off at the same spot.

That's a fair policy. I'll permanently re-enable the copyright tonight. I had hoped that not advertising the engine would slow down the spam bots but it seems to no avail.

Only admin's should see these spam posts but everyone can.

I can't post links to this forum so you'll need to manually navigate to andybrown.me.uk and go to the first board in the forum (main menu link at top of home page) to see what I mean.

I would start by checking the search settings, maybe disabling search index.
