and goDaddy is KNOWN to be a problematic host for many...





For the money you pay GoDaddy, I suspect that you would probably be able to get a better host (although not "unlimited").

There is no such thing as 'unlimited'.



They are running your website on a machine with dozens, or hundreds, of other websites and banking on you not using 'unlimited' resources.
