Welcome to SMF. Unfortunately there is not an easy solution to this. The administrator group is a special group. The best bet is to customize the modifications to use permission hooks rather than try to hack another admin group.

Nope, there was no redirection. HTTP and is (domain is now transferred and running smooth on Nginx ) was accessible perfectly fine. We encourage the use of HTTPS, but don't enforce it for the forum.

That's a CloudLinux error. Either means a misconfiguration with the host/user was improperly added to CageFS, or they disabled the CloudLinux PHP selector and it's throwing a stupid error.



It shouldn't be cause of your speed problem though.

SMF of around 2.0.7 or so no longer allows it to be in an iframe for security. if the user is viewing the forum in an iframe and no one else is for whatever reason that would be why they are getting that error.

Have you checked the modifications section?



There's a mod in there ("tidy child boards") that can show child boards in columns. I adapted that mod to show my child boards in a single vertical column (the mod allows a minimum of two columns).

OK so you just need to fetch the hashed password from SMF's database (smf_members) for the username requested.



Then hash the user+password that the user entered like SMF does --> sha1(strtolower($_POST['username']) . $_POST['password']) and compare it ...

if moderators have access to see the waiting for approval queue, then they will be able to see the pending approval messages... plain and simple -- there is no way to restrict one group from seeing it if they have access to the other moderation settings.

you can only do the above change if your host allows you to modify your php.ini. most shared hosts do not. you could always put in a ticket to your host and ask if it is set.



you should also upgrade to 2.0.9 for security.

I am very sure. I give you a screenshot of the repair_settings.php as "proof". I indicated all relevant occurance of "http://" and marked the mentioned wrong recommned value parts where the "/forum" is missing.

Just a correction, SMF *does* use auto increment in id_member. What's stored in smf_settings is the latest member.



Do as Kindred says. There is even a function that returns you the id of the member you just inserted
