Getting started more quickly does not equate to getting started well and/or correctly.

This is something I had not considered.

Can you list some ways that it might be possible to get an SMF forum up and running wrong?

So far, I have assumed that "quick start" might either succeed (most of the time) or fail (if there is something unusual about the hosting situation), but not succeed but be unwell or incorrect.

So it would be worthwhile to quantify this and do a little risk assessment.
