I run a forum currently with SMF 2.07 and have registration disabled to new members.
Perhaps this isn't the best place to post this. My apologies if that is so.
Our forum is closed to the public and I register all new members manually as an admin. Regarding members in the "Awaiting Activation", I couldn't locate an explanation of the 5 options (with selected drop down list on lower right of). These options seem relatively self explanatory, but it would be nice to have them documented, including the content of the default email messages.
Also, with the registration option set to "disabled" as I have it, the link to register is still displayed on the main menu. I consider that a bug, though it may be in the theme / template NOT in SMF. I am using the "Anecdota" theme by "Crip", FYI.
