Re: How to give specific permissions to a board

Hi,

I am using a forum developed using SMF, version is "SMF 2.0.7"

I have created a list of boards in my forum and "regular members" have the access to post new topics in all the boards.

I have also created a board where I don't want to give access to regular members the option to post new topics. They should have only the option of replying to topics.

I tried the following but if I deselected the permission of "Post new topics" it is getting applied for all the boards and "regular members" are unable to post new topics in all the boards.

What I did was logged in as admin>Forum>Board>Modify Boards>Selected the "permissions" where I want to change the permissions of the specific board>Clicked on modify permissions for "Regular members" > deselected "Post new topics".

I want to know how to deny permission to post new topics for a specific board.
