Re: Set new board to default to global ignore for unread?

I already have ignore topics. The number of posts is getting out of hand to handle it that way.

The first suggestion was a good one using just the letter of what I said, but as I was thinking about implementing it, I realized that I'd explained it a little wrong.

The people who don't want to see the posts only don't want them in view unread. They want to be able to visit the board and read them manually when they want to. They're not opposed to the content - just the clutter since they're very active threads and many of them spend a lot of time at the top.

So ignore board would be perfect, but I just wanted to implement a reverse opt-in kind of system.

If I can't do that, I can live with having them proactively check ignore boards in their profile.
